I grew up in Evansville, Indiana in a large family with lots of siblings and extended family in the area. I graduated from Mater Dei High School. During the summers in high school, I worked at the Evansville Freedom Festival and at the boat races on the Ohio river. This was an important event at the time for Evansville and the entire tri-state area.
After high school I went to IU in Bloomington and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2008. After college I decided to take some time and explore my options. I worked as a youth and family mentor to children in Vanderburgh County. I also coached youth soccer with my brother for children in the area. I received a great deal of satisfaction from my interaction with children and families at risk and really enjoyed coaching young people to help them get the most of out their life and experiences.
It was during this time that I decided I was ready to work on my own dreams and attended law school at Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. I graduated with my Juris Doctor in 2015. During law school I continued to work and clerked for a law firm. I was focused on my training and experiences in the law. After law school I was admitted to practice before the Indiana Supreme Court. I began my career at DCS as a staff attorney. My experience as a mentor and counselor in between college and law school was invaluable for working at DCS. I really enjoyed my time at DCS, but the time had come for me to continue my training in the law, and I went to work in the private sector.
I joined Brooke & Struble, PC in April 2023 to grow as an attorney as well as gain experience in many different areas of the law. The challenge of new projects and new matters was very appealing to me rather than the same work every day. Now I assist clients in the areas of Fireworks Law, Litigation, Personal Injury, Business Formation, and Insurance Defense.
My wife and I live with our children in Fortville. I am an avid Cubs and IU supporter. I also enjoy playing bocce ball and have competed in leagues around the Indianapolis area.
